She studied classical piano before switching to Jazz Voice at McGill University, where she gave a Bachelor's recital in April 2025 and received a DownBeat Student Award as part of a small vocal ensemble. She relocated to Boston to pursue graduate studies at the New England Conservatory and performs regularly in the local scene, frequently appearing as a duo with pianist Kazuki Tsubakida at venues such as the Hobgoblin and the Mad Monkfish.
