Band members Austin Rudisill, Clay Misenheimer, and Dillon Myrick originally all from neighboring small towns in Stanly County North Carolina began as a singer song writer’s collective along with David Xiong and Amy Echstenkamper but eventually evolved into the band now known as Clay Pigeons. The Clay Pigeons released their debut EP May 5, 2011 at The Pour House Music Hall and are currently working on their first full length album which they hope to release spring of 2013. Now the band mixes numerous instruments ranging from guitar to harmonica, electric bass to mandolin, drums to the occasional accordian.
