About
Formed in 1993 (originally called Släktingarna), Date adopted the name Date in 1997 after a memorable TV performance and has been active on the Swedish dansband circuit since. They competed in Melodifestivalen in 2001, 2002 and 2005, have received a Grammis nomination and won Guldklaven recognition (including a Guldklaven for their bassist in 2006).
