Gavin Adcock began releasing music after a 2021 knee injury and quickly built a large streaming audience with singles such as the RIAA Platinum-certified "A Cigarette" and multiple Gold-certified songs. His major-label debut Actin' Up Again (2024) was a top streaming country debut and he followed with Own Worst Enemy (2025), earning industry nominations and touring both as a headliner and in support of major artists.
