Joe “Sonny” Barbato is an accordionist/pianist who studied at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory and trained on accordion with Louis Bregoli. He has released recordings including Crackerjack (2006) and Wisdom Path (2021) and has toured and performed across the United States and Europe alongside artists such as Ravi Coltrane and Stanley Turrentine. Barbato teaches, freelances regularly in the New England/New York area, and performs in duo and small-group settings.
