The Promised End formed in the early 2020s and released their debut LP For The Buried And The Broken on February 2, 2024 via Sound Investment Records and Gunner Records. The album was issued on vinyl and digital formats and was followed by a mainland European tour in September 2024. In 2025 they released the single "A Long Shadow" and announced plans to enter the studio to record a second LP.
