Its the 95th anniversary of two iconic horror movies, and were bringing them to the big screen at The Cabot! First its Bela Lugosi in Dracula, followed by Boris Karloff in Frankenstein!
There will be a 10 minute intermission between the films.
The dashing, mysterious Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi) travels to London from Transylvania and takes up residence in a ruined abbey. A string of attacks soon follow, the victims being found with all the blood drained from their body. While Dracula sets his sights on Mina, the daughter of a prominent doctor at a nearby sanatorium, Professor Van Helsing is enlisted to stop the attacks and investigate the Count.
The obsessed scientist Dr. Henry Frankenstein nears the end of his quest to create life by assembling a creature made from body parts of the deceased in his secluded laboratory. On the stormy night Henrys fiancee Elizabeth and his former colleagues arrive to bring him home, Dr. Frankenstein finally succeeds in animating his grotesque creature (Boris Karloff).
