Boston Public Library Presents

About

For over thirty years, Robert Richmond took black and white photographs of the residents of Boston’s North End neighborhood, as well as the city’s downtown area and the combat zone. In this exhibit focusing on women, each woman speaks with a quiet or a defiant dignity, a sense of sadness or fear, or a sense of humor, all through the weight and drama of a difficult life.

This exhibit and reception are presented by Artists-at-Large.
