About
We are a Boston Public Library book group for adults that reads a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction. We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm at the Central Library in Copley Square.
Our September theme is "Understanding Iran" and we will be reading Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi.
Nonfiction. Every Thursday morning for two years in the Islamic Republic of Iran, a bold and inspired teacher named Azar Nafisi secretly gathered seven of her most committed female students to read forbidden Western classics.
AVAILABILITY: Copies will be available for pick up at the Central Library Borrower Services desk after the previous month's discussion, until they are gone, or you may place holds on other copies or formats via the library catalog.
