Club Café is a longstanding LGBTQ+ restaurant, lounge, piano bar, and nightclub featuring the Moonshine nightclub and the Napoleon Room cabaret at 209 Columbus Ave. Opened in 1983, it remains a central hub of Boston’s queer nightlife and operates within the historic Youth’s Companion Building, where the Pledge of Allegiance was published. Located in the South End near Back Bay, it’s walkable to nearby bars and theaters; the Moonshine main room accommodates 225 standing for shows.
