Crystal Ballroom at Somerville Theatre is a restored second-floor performance space in the historic Hobbs Building overlooking Davis Square, hosting concerts, comedy, dance nights, and private events. The original Hobbs’ Crystal Ballroom opened with the building in 1914, was later converted into cinemas in 1996, and was renovated and reborn during the pandemic-era closure. The venue features a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and a standing capacity of 500 patrons.
