The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is one of the nation’s largest encyclopedic art museums, founded in 1870 and located on Huntington Avenue’s “Avenue of the Arts.” Its campus includes the Art of the Americas Wing (opened in 2010) and the glass-roofed Shapiro Family Courtyard, and it hosts films, talks, and concerts in the Remis Auditorium. Set in the Fenway/Kenmore cultural cluster near colleges and restaurants, it draws locals and visitors for major exhibitions and programs.
