The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston is a waterfront contemporary art museum in the Seaport presenting exhibitions, film, and live performance. Its current DS+R–designed home opened in 2006 and anchors the neighborhood’s cultural scene. The building includes the 325-seat Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater used for music, dance, film, and talks, with harbor views and a sleek, glass-walled design steps from Seaport dining.
