About
Founder and Executive Director of The Actors Studio of Newburyport, Marc Clopton has taught drama for more than twenty years and led the nonprofit theatre organization since its 1991 founding. He has directed productions including Harold Pinter’s Betrayal, The Elephant Man, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and under his leadership the studio received North of Boston Magazine’s BONS Award (2021). Clopton oversees the studio’s classes, play development, and community programming from its Crossroads Plaza location.
